    HERBERT SMITH FREEHILLS

    Communication & VOICE TRAINING

Dame Judi Dench on a Tuesday - Herbert Smith Freehills staff on a Friday - lucky them!

Who better to teach you how to communicate effectively than the voice coach who finely tunes some of Hollywood's best known voices.

Michael Corbidge Senior Voice Coach for the Royal Shakespeare Company used a health dose of The Bard to improve the voice, posture, communication and above all confidence skills of the entire Herbert Smith Freehills Team.

    ULSTER BANK

    THRILLING TEAM BUILDING

We were contacted by Ulster Bank to provide a creative and innovative way to help them engage their team members and promote diversity. What better way than an afternoon learning to dance!

Working with Doogan Dance Academy participants first learnt the moves from Michael Jackson's Thriller before working with Titanic Denim to create some fabulous costumes and apply the essential zombie make up.

Finally participants all took part in the filming of their final dance. We heard they also got some pretty strange looks on their bus rides home!

    This would work for us!

    BANK OF IRELAND

    BE AT YOUR BEST CHOIR

Who doesn't love a Choir at Christmas?

The team at Bank of Ireland didn't only learn to sing - they connected with colleagues and had fun whilst improving their mental health and well-being through the release of all those happy hormones!

Partnering with professional choir leader Dr Thomas Brown staff took part in a series of weekly choir sessions which led to them entertaining customers and sharing some Christmas spirit (and a few mince pies) and connecting with customers in their branches.

    Sounds Good!

    FAIRHILL SHOPPING CENTRE

    BUSINESS AWARDS

We were asked by Fairhill Shopping Centre to deliver their 2019 Fairhill Business Awards process designed to recognise the hard work, commitment and dedication of the tenants and staff in Fairhill Shopping Centre.

10 categories were judged using a range of different methods including written entries, interviews, mystery shops and customer surveys.

The awards gala in Tullyglass Hotel was a fitting way for Fairhill management to celebrate the achievements of all the entrants and winners.

    Tell Me More!

    BDO

    NETWORKING TRAINING

Question - How do you learn to network effectively?

Answer: You get up off your butt and practice!

The Young Professionals Network from BDO wanted to improve their networking skills to reduce the fear and awkwardness by developing some practical techniques and put them into action.

A practical session with Theatre Professional Andrea Montgomery from Terra Nova taught participants how to join and leave a conversation, introduce themselves and have strong body language.

You will spot their newfound confidence at the next Chamber event!

    VICTORIA SQUARE

    10th BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS

In 2018 Victoria Square were celebrating their 10th Birthday and came to us for inspiration!

As they wanted to create stronger connections with local schools we developed an art-competition to create a piece of art in the triangular shape of their iconic dome.

Almost 1000 budding artists rose to the challenge and the beautiful winning pieces were displayed in the dome to celebrate the birthday.

We also commissioned Aly Harte to create a painting of the dome as well as delivering schools workshops to our winners!

    STORY WALL COMPETITION

The Fairhill Story Wall Competition is an annual event which encourages local children to get creative and draw their favourite book - addressing curriculum areas of both literacy and art.

We have consistently attracted over 2000 entries into the competition by creating strong relationships with schools and teachers in the Ballymena area.

When the judging is complete - the 12 winners have their beautiful artwork framed and proudly displayed in the Centre's Food Court for the rest of the year!

    HENDERSON GROUP

    DRUMMING AND SINGING TEAM BUILDING

With over 150 attendees to engage and entertain during their annual HR away day, The Henderson Group contacted us requesting a fun team building activity which also explored themes of leadership and communication.

Not content with just one art form we created an interactive musical experience combining both singing and drumming!

    .

The group was split into two - each group worked on a different element and then came back together to create an amazing cacophony of sound - or something like that!

The team really through themselves into both elements and the activity even encouraged The Henderson Group to start their own workplace choir - which of course we were delighted to arrange for them too!

    Oooh Sounds Good..

    MID ULSTER DISTRICT COUNCIL

60 workshops are currently being delivered in three towns using various art forms including music, dance, theatre, vlogging, craft and drumming.

This supports the mental health and wellbeing of the participants encouraging them to take time out for themselves, connect with new people and learn and create something together.

The project is supported by the European Union’s PEACE IV Programme, managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB)
